The memory:

Something called me to spend my birthday with strangers.

Iceland 1

Something called me to spend it in a foreign land.

Iceland 2

So I got on a plane, and left.

Iceland 3

It’s really nice to spend your birthday in anonymity. Actually, I prefer it.

It reminds me that the world is so big, and I am so small. Just marvel at the world’s beauty, little girl, and be astonished. Be awed. Be inspired.

Welcome to the 27 club, little girl from Texas living in New York City, who is dreaming of the world.

This year will be special, I can feel it in my fingers and my toes. Every year I tell myself it will be a good year, but 27 will be different.

This year will be the year I pursue everything not only with passion, but with intention. Every move will be a robust move. This year will be a pivot point.

Iceland 4

Walk towards the light and make your move with intention, little girl. This will be the year.

End: Memory Moment Forty Six.
